Last week I saw this quote on social media and almost shared it immediately:

Stop waiting for Friday, for summer, for someone to fall in love with you, for life. Happiness is achieved when you stop waiting for it and make the most of the moment you are in now.

Then I got to thinking about how it would actually be a little different for my life situation. So I rewrote my version:

stop

Then I got thinking about how it would be different for your life situation. Then I started thinking about how each of your versions could really resonate with others and even help inspire others to take action.

Hanging around waiting for certain things to happen causes us miss out on the present awesome moment. I am saying this to help you realize that you are awesome now.

I have been sooooo guilty of waiting. The things I mention in my version are all things I waited for during the last few years and that I could still be waiting for. I stopped waiting and started seeking happiness everyday through things like meditation, playing with my kids, singing in the car, and positive affirmations.

Now it’s your turn. How would you fill in the blanks after “Stop waiting for ____________”?

Share yours in the comments!

Remember this: You are awesome. You have always been awesome and you will always be awesome. Those times when you felt like you weren’t awesome, guess what? You were awesome then too. XO!

  1. Stop waiting for the perfect curriculum package to start sharing my coaching program. I did this last month and what a difference. Progress, not perfection. Sending love, Kerri!

    • Oh my! I sure can relate to that one, Marian! SO glad you stopped waiting! Congratulations! I can’t wait to see it unfold. XO!
